I am writing to request that funds be allocated in the 2024 budget for improving the tennis courts at Lakewood Park. With all the recent improvements at Lakewood Park, the tennis courts need to be brought to a suitable and safe condition. Although these are the courts closest to my home, I will no longer play on them due to their condition. I think it would benefit the community as a whole to improve these courts, and further showcase the outstanding improvements that have been made to other parts of Lakewood Park.
Hi, I have lived in Lakewood for 15 years. I play tennis year round and would appreciate it if the city could make plans to improve our tennis courts. We’d like to see enhanced tennis courts at our wonderful Lakewood Park. The three remaining tennis courts are now an eyesore and a safety hazard. ~Laura & Richard Little
Please consider resurfacing the tennis courts at Lakewood Park. The craters and cracks on the asphalt underneath the current surface make it difficult to play. There are too many dead spots to play with any accuracy. Thanks for your consideration. Barb Kohuth
