I support the salary increases for both the mayor and the council members. As noted in the report, the mayor is effectively performing two jobs, both with significant responsibilities. I have observed first-hand the amount of time and hard work that our council representatives put into serving their constituents, attending meetings, and campaigning, among other things. I believe an increase in salary is warranted and deserved.
