I support this initiative as a community member who has lived in Lakewood for 12 years as a renter.
I think renters need to be apart of this committee if not be more included in city discussions as renters make up 60% of the city's population, yet grossly misrepresented in city government.
I cannot attend the meeting today, but I hope to attend in the future.
We can't have an inclusive city without affordability.
