373.101(c) seems to leave in place a restriction for adults from using electric scooters, such as Bird or Lime, from shared use paths but does not have the same restriction for children. Which seems to apply an odd logic that adult operators are either more dangerous than inexperienced operators or somehow less in danger from cars. Please, ask sponsor to clarify intention behind not updating this item.
