I am a Lakewood resident and support participatory budgeting. I believe this investment would benefit our community by offering residents a tangible way to invest a portion of the resources from the American Rescue Plan Act and take clear steps to center people in a more democratic process.

I support Councilperson's Rader's proposal. I feel there is a lot we can do when citizens have more say in the city budget.
