RESOLUTION 2021-24 - A RESOLUTION to take effect immediately provided it receives the affirmative vote of at least five members of Council, or otherwise to take effect and be in force after the earliest period allowed by law, authorizing Meghan F. George, Mayor and Shawn Leininger, Director of Planning and Development to enter into an agreement, secured with a promissory note and 30-year mortgage, with the Ohio Department of Mental Health and Addiction Services for the purpose of accepting an award of $250,000 to rehabilitate, repair, and furnish the former Cove United Methodist Church property to create the City of Lakewood Intergenerational Community Center where mental health and addiction support services will be provided.
