Why does the city not enforce Ordinance 339.02 (6 ton limit)? My councilperson John Litten, my Community Resource Officer, the City Prosecutor the Mayors Asst. and Capt. Albrecht have been aware of my concerns since last year. Tess Neff even questioned it last year when she was a councilperson. I even had Lt. Thorne of the OHP get involved and he spoke with the city prosecutor and was informed that OHP had no jurisdiction since it was a city Ordinance. I have been told special attention will be given to the area, traffic studies would be done and am now informed that it is unenforceable because of lack of signage. Tristan Rader whom I am communicating with now has gotten the Planning Commission involved but why were they not involved a year ago when the I asked about it. The lack of past action concerns me and only through persistence since August of 2020 have I finally gotten some response with regards to this. When will some action take place on the violation of the ordinance?
