RESOLUTION 2022-23 - A RESOLUTION to take effect immediately provided it receives the affirmative vote of at least two thirds of the members of Council, or otherwise to take effect and be in force after the earliest period allowed by law, declaring June to be National Gun Violence Awareness Month in the City of Lakewood to honor and remember all victims and survivors of gun violence and to declare that we as a country must do more to reduce gun violence.

ORDINANCE 19-2022 - AN ORDINANCE to take effect immediately provided it receives the affirmative vote of at least five (5) members of Council, or otherwise to take effect and be in force after the earliest period allowed by law, amending Section 149.25 Paid Parental Leave and Childbirth Leave of the Lakewood Codified Ordinances to remove the eligibility requirement of twelve or more months of service with the City of Lakewood.

15. RESOLUTION 2022-24 - A RESOLUTION to take effect immediately provided it receives the vote of at least five members of Council, or otherwise to take effect at the earliest period allowed by law, authorizing the Director of Human Resources to enter into one or more agreements or renewal agreements with representatives of Retirement Health Reimbursement Account (RHRA) with benefits consultants in order to provide a mechanism for employees to defer a portion of their separation pay-out into an RHRA which will be available to them in their retirement years.

RESOLUTION 2021-53A - A RESOLUTION to take effect immediately provided it receives the affirmative vote of at least two thirds of the members of Council, or otherwise to take effect and be in force after the earliest period allowed by law, amending Resolution No. 2021-53, adopted December 20, 2021, authorizing and directing the Mayor to submit the Fiscal Year 2022 (FY22) One-Year Action Plan of the FY20–FY24 Five Year Consolidated Plan (Consolidated Plan) which includes dollar allocations and activities to be funded with federal Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) and Emergency Solutions Grant (ESG) resources, any other entitlement funds received from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), all amendments thereto, and all understandings and assurances contained therein, and incorporates the City’s application to HUD for FY22 CDBG and ESG funds.

RESOLUTION 2022-25 - A RESOLUTION to take effect immediately provided it received the affirmative vote of at least two thirds of the members of Council, or otherwise to take effect and be in force after the earliest period allowed by law approving the Tax Budget of the City of Lakewood, State of Ohio for the year 2023, and authorizing the filing of same with the Cuyahoga County Fiscal Officer.

RESOLUTION 2022-26 - A RESOLUTION to take effect immediately provided it receives the affirmative vote of at least two thirds of the members of Council or otherwise, to take effect and be in force after the earliest period allowed by law requesting the Cuyahoga County Fiscal Officer to draw and the Cuyahoga County Treasurer to pay to the City of Lakewood Director of Finance an advance of all real, personal property and special assessments collected in the year 2023 in such amounts as may be requested and available.

ORDINANCE 20-2022 - AN ORDINANCE to take effect immediately provided it receives the affirmative vote of at least two thirds of the members of Council, or otherwise to take effect and be in force at the earliest period allowed by law, amending Ordinance 41-2021 adopted December 20, 2021, authorizing the Mayor (Director of Public Safety), the Director of Public Works, the Director of Law, the Director of Finance, and/or the Purchasing Manager to enter into contracts for professional services, and to advertise for bids and enter into contracts for the purchase of repair maintenance and operating supplies, services and equipment as authorized by the 2022 Appropriation Ordinance and the Administrative Code of the City of Lakewood with the lowest and best bidder or bidders or as otherwise provided by law.
