I have a question about Hilliard Rd. Since it was resurfaced last year, it has not been properly repainted with road markings. The markings that were painted appear to be temporary and are fading. Further, they are unclear in many places. There are signs, for example, that indicate there are or should be two lanes (such as at Elmwood), but no markings to support or reinforce the signs. Some drivers treat it as one wide lane, some treat it as two narrow lanes, and I see minor road rage incidences almost every day because no one knows how to treat it. For what it’s worth, there are also no bicycle markings. My understanding is that it’s a share the lane road, like Detroit, but if so, it is not marked. Hilliard is a major thoroughfare, and, in my opinion, needs to have markings commensurate with its importance to the community. It is currently a free-for-all, and feels very unsafe.

Thank you for your consideration.
