15. ORDINANCE 36-2023 - AN ORDINANCE to take effect January 1, 2024 provided it receives the affirmative vote of at least five members of Council, or otherwise to take effect and be in force after the earliest period allowed by law amending the Tax Code of the City of Lakewood to incorporate changes that have been mandated by the passage of H.B. 33 by the State of Ohio.

36-2023 Tax Code Amendment

16. ORDINANCE 37-2023 - AN ORDINANCE to take effect January 1, 2024, provided it receives the affirmative vote of at least two thirds of the members of Council, or otherwise to take effect and be in force after the earliest period allowed by law, to provide for creating positions and rates of pay for full-time and certain part-time annual salaried employees and hourly rate employees not covered by a collective bargaining agreement in the several departments, divisions and offices of the City of Lakewood, including the Chief of Fire, Chief of Police and Civil Service Commissioners and superseding all prior salary ordinances.

37-2023 Salary Ordinance Update

17. RESOLUTION 2023-65 - A RESOLUTION to take effect immediately provided it receives the affirmative vote of at least two thirds of the members of Council, or otherwise to take effect and be in force after the earliest period allowed by law, authorizing and directing the Mayor to submit the Fiscal Year 2024 (FY24) One-Year Action Plan of the FY20–FY24 Five Year Consolidated Plan (Consolidated Plan) which includes dollar allocations and activities to be funded with federal Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) and Emergency Solutions Grant (ESG) resources, any other entitlement funds received from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), all amendments thereto, and all understandings and assurances contained therein, and incorporates the City’s application to HUD for FY24 CDBG and ESG funds.
