RESOLUTION 2022-56 - A RESOLUTION to take effect immediately provided it receives the affirmative vote of at least two thirds of the members of Council, or otherwise to take effect and be in force after the earliest period allowed by law, authorizing the Mayor of the City of Lakewood and Director of Law to make an offer for the purchase of the property located at 12984 Lake Avenue, Lakewood, Ohio (PPN 312-08-017), and, if the offer is accepted, to negotiate and execute all documents necessary to effectuate the purchase and sale. 3. ORDINANCE 12-2021A - AN ORDINANCE to take effect immediately provided it receives the vote of at least two thirds of the members of Council, or otherwise to take effect at the earliest period allowed by law, to amend S. Ord. 12-2021, adopted March 15, 2021, to remove the sunset date of the original legislation and permanently expanding rental rights within eh City of Lakewood by allowing renters who tender their full rent plus any additional late fees and court costs, prior to an eviction hearing to avoid eviction for late payment of rent and setting reasonable late fees that a landlord may charge a tenant.
