ORDINANCE 49-2022 - AN ORDINANCE to take effect immediately upon affirmative vote of at least two thirds of the members of Council, or otherwise to take effect and be in force at the earliest period allowed by law, further delineating the acceptable uses and purposes of the Parking Meter Fund, Section 129.16 of the Codified Ordinances, to include new revenue and expenses associated with electronic vehicle charging (EV) stations, parking meters, electric scooters, and public space acquired or used to facilitate alternative forms of transportation. 10. ORDINANCE 02-2023 - AN ORDINANCE to take effect immediately provided it receives the vote of at least two thirds of the members of Council, or otherwise to take effect at the earliest period allowed by law, expanding rental rights within the City of Lakewood by allowing renters who tender their full rent plus any additional late fees and court costs prior to completion of eviction proceedings to avoid eviction for late payment of rent and setting reasonable late fees that a landlord may charge a tenant.
