2. ORDINANCE 20-2023 - AN ORDINANCE to take effect immediately provided it receives the affirmative vote of at least two thirds of the members of Council, or otherwise to take effect and be in force after the earliest period allowed by law, authorizing and directing the Director of Planning and Development or the Mayor to enter into an agreement with a licensed real estate broker to market for sale various real properties, pursuant to Section 155.07 of the Codified Ordinances. RESOLUTION 2023-43 – A RESOLUTION to take effect immediately provided it receives the affirmative vote of at least five members of Council, or otherwise to take effect and be in force after the earliest period allowed by law, to increase the adoption fees for animals that are adopted through the Lakewood Animal Shelter. 6. ORDINANCE 21-2023 - AN ORDINANCE to take effect immediately provided it receives the affirmative vote of at least two thirds of the members of Council, or otherwise to take effect and be in force at the earliest period allowed by law, to approve the editing and inclusion of certain ordinances as parts of the various component codes of the Codified Ordinances and to provide for the publication of such new matter.

8. RESOLUTION 2023-49 - A RESOLUTION to take effect immediately provided it receives the affirmative vote of at least two thirds of the members of Council, or otherwise to take effect and be in force after the earliest period allowed by law, approving the ordering of an ambulance for delivery in 2026 and a boat for the Division of Fire for delivery in 2024 and committing to including the purchase of those items in the respective budgets.

RESOLUTION 2023-50 - A RESOLUTION to take effect immediately provided it receives the vote of at least two thirds of the members of Council, or otherwise to take effect at the earliest period allowed by law, authorizing the Mayor to execute for an on behalf of the City of Lakewood, a public entity established under the laws of the State of Ohio, an application and to file it in the appropriate State office for the purpose of obtaining certain Federal financial assistance under the Disaster Relief Act (Public Law 288, 23rd Congress) or otherwise available from the President’s Disaster Relief Fund.
